Teeth!

Anna Grace cut her first tooth today. She has been chewing on her fist for a couple of days, but the tooth is officially through today, as of our drive home from Round Rock. Here she is home after a week away!

Christmas in Round Rock

Anna Grace is starting to get the hang of opening presents. She really enjoys putting the bows and paper in her mouth. One gift was this new lace headband, which she soon figured out how to pull down over her eyes.

Presents!!!

Anna Grace has been quite spoiled by grandma and grandpa this Christmas. But, was also just as entertained by the ribbons. We hope that your Christmas was as blessed as ours. Merry Christmas!

Anna Grace's first Christmas

We got Anna Grace up and dressed for church just about at bedtime. She went to the midnight mass in San Antonio with the whole family. Here she is in her Christmas dress just before the service.
This is the family that was in San Antonio for Christmas, in relation to Anna Grace, starting on the left with me and Matt, her grandma and grandpa, behind us in her cousin Blake, Aunt Kim, Uncle Brad, and cousins Jordan and Haleigh.
Anna Grace was a trooper throughout the service and finally went to bed about 1am.

Caught red-handed

It was supposed to be nap time and there was a really strange noise in her room. She was trying her darndest to get the mobile to come on.

As soon as the camera clicked though, this is what I got...Dwayne noted to Matt that she is always smiling or asleep in the pictures. My response is, it's not my fault our little girl is such a ham for the camera.

Sensory overload!

Anna Grace is a little overwhelmed with everything to see and touch. Thank you grandma Jackie, she loves it.

Big Girl!

Anna Grace spent her first night in the crib December first. We are going on a month of sleeping 10pm - 7 am (with a slight interuption for the trip to Seattle!) Here we are with the adorable little outfit that Dianne gave us.

Snow Day!

Leave it to Texans to brag about our first snow day. This is officially Anna Grace's first one. Though I will say she really isn't partaking in the chilly outside events today.

Here are a few more with the family from Thanksgiving...

Old pro

We came home yesterday and now Anna Grace is an old pro at flying...

Salmon run

About the only tourist thing that we did was go to see the salmon run. It really was spectacular, some of the salmon were 3 feet long. We even got to see a few of them spawn.

Thanksgiving Day

We were fortunate to be together with family for the holiday. Linzi uncorked the champagne, and we even had a proper meal at the table. The picture also shows a little of the construction in the kitchen behind. Troy and Linz just moved and the kitchen isn't quite done yet. Kudos to my mom for putting together a fabulous dinner regardless.

Anna Grace even dressed for the occasion!

Cousin Fiona

We were so excited to see Troy, Linz, Thom and of course cousin Fi. (hopefully Linz will send some with the three kids) The girls were born 4 days apart and they are going to be trouble growing up. The first picture shows them holding hands. At least they were before we all ran to get cameras to capture the moment.

This is grandma and Linzi with the girls.

Grandpa even squeezed in a couple of cuddles with all of the commotion.

First plane ride!

We all boarded a plane for Seattle last Saturday. There lies the reason for the long time without any recent posts, but I should make up for it today. Check out Anna Grace on the first trip. The nice lady at American gave her a seat of her own.

Uh-oh!

Anna Grace is already trying to get her bottom in the air to scoot across the floor. What a strong little girl we have.

Whoop!

Anna Grace is dreaming of being a yell leader, either that or celebrating class of '28. Whoop!

4 month checkup

Anna Grace went to the doctor yesterday. 4 shots and she was a trooper. Weight: 11lbs 15oz(15th percentile), height: 24.75" (75th percentile), head: 16.25" (60th percentile). Here is a picture of her in her crib today. All of a sudden I heard the mobile turn off and you can see her little toes are right next to the controls for it. She looked pretty proud of herself.

Quiet Monday

Anna Grace is slowly recovering from all the company we have had. She even cuddled with grandma this morning.

I do love the time that I get AG all to myself too though. When I know that all the smiles, giggles and love are just for me. (A little selfish I know!)

Anna Grace's Baptism

What a joyous day! We had Anna Grace baptized at our church this morning. We are thankful that Jason and Kyla agreed to be her godparents. They are such devoted and faithful people that we know she will be blessed and guided by their prayers. Matt and I are thankful that they could share this day with us and our families. We truly feel that God has enriched our lives through their friendship and look forward to what is ahead.

We were also joined by a group of relatives. Our little girl inspired quite a few people to travel to Fort Worth! From the left (in relation to Anna Grace) Great uncle Paul, Grandpa Tom, Gigi (Grandma Judy), Us, Grandma, Grandpa, Greant Aunt Janice, and second cousin Ben. Liz and Miss Debbie are taking the pictures. Thank you to everyone that wanted to be here for us today. We truly loved having everyone here to share in our special day.

Gigi's playtime

Gigi managed to squeeze in a little bit of one on one time with Anna Grace, which is a little surprising from the number of relatives that were here this weekend.

Socks!

They can't taste that good can they?

Trunk or Treat

We dressed AG up and went back to church this afternoon for the fall festival and trunk or treating. She was dressed as a lil' pea in a pod, and really we were more amused by the costume than she was. Here's our cutie.

Center of attention

Anna Grace is even the center of attention at the busy Cox household. We went there last night to listen to the aggie game with them. It was such a good time, even if the game was less than the blow out we were hoping for. Weston (Gus as he is referred to by Tyler), Tyler and Kyla are in this picture.

Tyler welcomed "Baby Anna" and even shared her toys. All of her toys, which was so generous!

Then she did Pattycake with little Anna. I think Jason captured it on video, it was too cute! She was so proud of herself when she was done too.

Thanks to their whole family for being such wonderful hosts!

Rolling Over

Caught on video today.

Moving and Shaking

Watch out world! (or at least me). Anna Grace surprised me today by rolling over. The video camera was in the other room, but she popped her head right up, looked at me and grinned and the rolled onto her back again. Yes, that's right, back to tummy, tummy to back. I was so excited that I called Matt at work, grandma and gigi all within a matter of minutes!!!

Wednesday

She is getting closer and closer to rolling over. I snapped this today during play time.

Telling stories

Anna Grace has become a master at telling stories while lying on your stomach. The first thing she does is lift her head to look you in the eye. This was Sat. night during the aggie game. Matt even let her talk while the game was on...
I guess he missed us while we were in San Antonio.

Grandpa's whiskers

Grandpa has even more whiskers than Matt and she is loving the touch. Plus, there is nothing better than a grandpa that would stand on his head to please you...

Grandma's house

We are having a great time visiting grandma. AG is really showing off how well she can lift her head. I would guess that rolling over is soon to follow, she almost did that Thursday (accidentally).

Daddy's face

Anna Grace is so enamored with having anyone's face close enough to grab. She has gotten a few handfuls of my hair and my nose. Sunday, she was feeling her daddy's whiskers. She obviously liked the texture.

We spent most of the day hanging around so that Matt doesn't miss his girls too much this week while we are in San Antonio.

Happy Halloween

It's almost Halloween, and it is definitely fall here in Texas.

Leftovers...

I found an old pic of grandpa V with little Anna Grace. She thinks he is pretty silly! This is from Labor Day weekend.

Boys and their toys. Kyle even got to ride up front because the back seat doesn't have seat belts. :) It was a beautiful Monday here in Fort Worth.
