Daddy's gone

And so even things like opening the mail give AG a change to get into things. There is black newsprint type smear all over her little face. :)

Table tops

Anna Grace motors around the tables like a pro. (I am totally impressed with how controlled she sits down as well. It is a very careful process!) Anyway, we now have cleaned off coffee tables. It was a very rainy weekend and we are ready to get out and take some pictures at the park.

Happy Hour at Chimy's

We met some friends Friday night for happy hour at a new place in Fort Worth. Anna Grace got to meet a new friend, Stoney, who is 4 months younger.

Hunter was also there and he was so cute playing peek-a-boo with AG. We had a great time and hopefully we can all do it again sometime soon.

Sleeping Beauty

I have tried to describe how AG usually sleeps and I don't think many people actually believe it. Anyway, I left the phone in there this afternoon during nap time and ran in immediately to get it out. I thought I'd snap this as long as I was in there.

Gigi and Grandpa's for the weekend

We started the weekend with a trip to Chuy's, which always has a wait. Anna Grace as you can tell wasn't a fan of walking on the grass!

On Saturday we tried out the swing. She still isn't really into them. It could partially bebecause she is still so tiny in them.

But, she was sporting a new outfit from grandma Jackie so we had to have a little picture of that.

Bath time is usually alone with daddy. As I walked by, I saw Matt sitting on the floor with AG brushing her hair. What a good daddy.

This is another new outfit, one from Gigi and grandpa. Pretty adorable. And of course a few pics just before we left. It was a fantastic weekend and always good to be able to spend it with family.

Lunch time

While I eat lunch, I often pull out the bin of toys for AG to play in. She has been pulling up on the coffee table for a while now, but today she used the bin to try to go higher. We may have a little daredevil on our hands.

Happy Mother's Day

It was my first Mother's day and it was fabulous. I can't thank Matt enough for making me feel so special today. We hope that every mother experienced their own blissful day, and we give a special thanks to the mom's that taught us to be good parents. We love you!

Anna Grace was wearing a new outfit for the occasion too! Thanks Aunt Betsy (and uncle Brendan too!)

Planting flowers

Anna Grace helped plant some flowers in the front yard this afternoon. She is sporting a new outfit from Gigi, and playing with the grass. By the way the pants are so big she can crawl out of them. Oops.

Spinach anyone?

AG loved it so much it went all over her forehead, her ears, her neck. Yummy!

Lioness

I know I have blogged before about this great book, What do you say... Well, whenever you flip the page to the one with the lion, Anna Grace does her version of roaring. It doesn't work with any other book or any other page, but I think it's hilarious. (Good choice for an animal too!) Oh and please excuse the mess that is her room. Before nap time she feels it is necessary to dump all the toy bins out. :)

It has been over a week and no new posts. I can't believe someone hasn't reprimanded me. On Thursday of last week, Gigi came up to stay with Anna Grace while I went to Dallas for a P.E.O. convention. I missed the little peanut, but I am sure that she had a wonderful time. Here is a random picture from yesterday.
