Late birthday celebration
ML got to wear her costume to school today. As I mentioned before, Gigi made these beautiful costumes for both girls. This is her sweet class as they are doing circle time. We are so blessed by this teacher, our school, and our class.
After circle time they did a beanbag toss and prepared for their feast. I am so glad I could pop in and take a few photos.
Gigi's retiring from her position at the church. There was a reception today between some of the services and a lot of wishes from the children of the church. The kids quickly found a quiet corner to camp out in and eat some of the many goodies. They were all fantastic while we chatted for 2 hours.
Long after the other kids finished, ML remained eating every bit of cookie, sherbert, and fruit she could manage. Granpda sat down to keep her company.
I think that I love getting ready for the pictures more than anything. We had to ditch the chairs so that Gigi and grandpa didn't topple over, but something sure was funny....as it always is with these shots.
We went to Gigi's this afternoon for a reception tomorrow. She bought pumpkins for the kids to decorate with markers. I love all the concentrated expressions I captured!
ML and AG have been talking all week about the sleepover with their cousin. They will likely giggle into the wee hours, but what fun it will be. I love that there are cousins to enjoy these sweet times with.
Our sweet friends invited us to join them tonight for a Halloween party. The girls were soooo excited to wear their new costumes that Gigi made. AG could hardly wait to get dressed.
ML slept until the very last minute and because it was going to be a late night, I let her. We got this sweet shot before we ate.
Then we wree off for the fun. A live pony, a band, face painting balloons and LOTS of dessert. The girls had a blast.
ML's school sets up a pumpkin patch every year and we have been itching to get down there. The girls were excited to see them arrive yesterday and we couldn't wait to get there today.

Nonna convinced us to try the Dallas Arboretum today for an exhibit. There are several Chihuly installations throughout the gardens. ML is less willing to pose than her older sister and I realize it every time we visit something like this! It truly was amazing.
Here are Nonna and V with Morgan Leigh. She insisted on sitting in the stroller rather than on the rock or someone's lap.
