Late birthday celebration
The kids played really well together for a long while. But eventually, AG discovered Miss Stacey's iPhone and was having a blast. Eli asked for mine - which isn't nearly as fun. I was cracking up.

Morgan Leigh is 7 months old. She is sitting up really well and trying her best to scoot across the floor. I heard the mobile switch on quite a few times after it's first 15 minute cycle, which means she's figured out the buttons to make that come on again. She is still happy to do anything you want - especially if I will hold her. She'll skip a feed or a nap and is just content on my lap. We'll start a new section of Super Baby foods tomorrow, how exciting!
I pulled some more books from AG's bookshelf today to put into ML's room. I came into the hallway and stopped dead in my tracks to hear Anna Grace telling Morgan Leigh the Christmas Story. I tried to get it on video, but she caught me. She hit all the highlights including traveling on the donkey, getting to Bethlehem where there was no room, and the wisemen seeing the star that told them Jesus was born in a manger. It was pretty good for the 3 year old's rendition!

The other day I met Jennifer for a glass (or a bottle) of wine in Grapevine. It was a much needed time for us to catch up and laugh together. She asked at one point what size ML was wearing and I answered that she was just growing into the 3-6 months clothes. To which, Jen replied, "how sweet." The great thing about that is, we are into all kinds of new clothes again. This dress was one that she gave us when ML was first born. So adorable!
We also are spoiled to have a quick trip from Gigi and Grandpa for the night. They came to help Matt build a handrail on the steps that he has been working on. Grandpa took a turn with the Magna Tiles tonight.
One of our favorite traditions is the stock show parade every year that kicks of the stock show. We joined our neighbors again this year. Here is AG with the big girls watching the TCU band. (They had the good fortune to go first in the parade, the streets are much cleaner then!)
Morgan Leigh was a trooper the whole day, just as usual! She finally fell asleep about halfway through.
I have been hosting our bible study group on Wednesdays now. It means a full day on Tuesday and a very relaxed Wednesday afternoon. As I came in the room, I saw this and couldn't resist a picture. Morgan Leigh is resting her head on AG's shoulder while they play together with a toy. A priceless moment for sure.
Apparently though it was very exhausting work playing with ML because later this afternoon she was sprawled out on the Elmo chair in the most uncomfortable looking position.
