Late birthday celebration
And lastly, our afterschool snack. So far our only disappointment (in her eyes) is that she doesn't get to ride the school bus. Hopefully we'll get over that soon enough! Here she comes counting in spanish....and so it begins.
This week was our church's first VBS type activity. It was a family affair called Round Up. The theme was The Lost Treasure and was carried out throughout the days. The first day had a treasure hunt with tools. I love this shot of AG, sunglasses, bow, skirt. I mean perfectly dressed to "dig".
And we closed each night with a talk and songs. Morgan Leigh spent most of the evening adjusting to being in a group. As soon as she got the hang of it, she would go somewhere that Matt or I was volunteering. But she was happy when all the kids were combined and she could be by AG
I purposely scheduled something play for the girls every day this week because of Matt traveling. It has been so fun. Today we made truffles, which AG was a little unsure of until she saw us melting all the chocolate.
And this one...she loves her some dark chocolate. It is by far her favorite candy. I am sure her sister at this age didn't even know what her favorite was :) Yummy!
Matt said that our first trip here made us real Fort Worthians. It is this a retro kind of water park fed by cool springs. It has a sandy beach all around it and alot of it is only waist deep. It's right in the city and we had a BLAST! I cannot wait to go again.
Morgan Leigh was cutting molars today. She wasn't her normal self and stuck by my side until this moment. I was standing taking pictures right before she fell. Oops! I was only a few steps away, but still...Needless to say, I put my phone away right after that! Like I said, we are super excited to go again, call if you want to join us!
