We are celebrating small business Saturday at one of our favorite spots!

Parade of lights

We invited some friends to join us this year for the annual parade in Fort Worth.  These kiddos are ready for it to start!

And this sweet little girl always finds Matt's lap!  I love it.

The parade always ends with Santa.  It is such a fun way for us to usher in the holiday!  Merry Christmas!

Kyle Field

Over 15 years ago we stood so this would be a background in one of our engagement pictures.  Today is the last day we will see the stadium like this.  They will demolish the former student side of our stadium in December.  We have lots of memories and look forward to making new memories in the our new seats.

Thanksgiving....kind of

This year the aggie game falls on Thanksgiving again.  We decided to move our dinner to Wednesday because of this.  My house is full and it fills me with joy!  Especially hearing these sweet giggles from uncle Matt's tickles.

I think I am the only one that snapped any pictures....they aren't great - but the meal was!  So glad the family went along with moving the holiday.

Suggles

Grandpa is getting some snuggles in tonight.  After a large meal we all need to stretch out on the sofa.

Knitting lessons

My mom used to own a knitting store.  I learned to knit when i was about AG's age.  She taught AG this trip and she has started her first scarf.

Who knows what she is trying to talk him into....but I bet he says yes.

Feast

The kindergarten classes always have a Thanksgiving feast at 1 pm the day before break.  It's a fun way to spend the last afternoon before break.

Recital

Today is AG's monthly piano recital.  We stopped at TJ's for a quick snack and they couldn't pass this by.

Lunch date

I brought lunch to the girls today.  Somehow she talked me into ice cream as well.  Her smile is pretty hard to resist!

Museum night

Tonight is our elementary school's night at the museum.  The girls conned us into going and we ended up at Chimy's for dinner before hand.

Turkey disguise

Morgan Leigh had to disguise a turkey for school this week.  She decided to do it as Danica.  We had fun using the silhouette again and this is the result.  Daddy is happy one of his girls loves race cars.

The Round Rock

We left Gigi and Grandpa's house in Round Rock for the last time today.  We stopped for one more picture at the Round Rock.  It was a drizzly kind of day and ML wouldn't get out of the car even.  From now on our visits to their house will be less than 15 minutes away.....

BRR!

I have tried and tried to get out of going to this game.  It's a night game and supposed to be really cold.  Matt asked very sweetly though and said he wanted me to come.  So here I am.  Down jacket, ski ear muffs and a rain poncho.  It's so cold, I must love him!

Gratitude Turkey

I love to take the whole month of November to write down things we are thankful for.  I have a horrible time letting the girls write silly things....like "Danica" - but they both started this year with God, family and our church (days 1,2, and 3 respectively) so I guess I can let Danica go....

Girlfriends

We got to have these sweet girls join us for dinner tonight.  What a fun treat to have them dropped so their parents could have a night out!

She is so concentrated on getting every morsel of that cake into her mouth.....

Grandpa V

Grandpa V is coming today and it is his birthday!  Nothing like a little chocolate cake for him....and us!

No school

The girls had a teacher work day today and we headed out for a fun lunch.  Since it isn't daddy's favorite place I am sure he was jealous!

Pizza night

We often share Pearson Pizza night with friends.  Tonight it is just us, but the silliness is the same.

Running club

AG joined running club and that means two pick ups on days like today.  We have an hour to hang around close to school.  Today we stopped in for a hot chocolate and happened to meet one of her sweet school friends there too.  What a fun surprise!

Beaters to lick

I have been on a zen fit bootcamp for a few weeks.  I haven't been baking - and there haven't been beaters to lick.  ML looks pretty thrilled that isn't the case today!

Twinkies

These silly girls still love to match!  On our way to church they requested a picture.

Aggie game

We chose today to be the girls aggie game this year.  It's an early game and quite a lot after Halloween last night.  ML was determined to see the fireworks before the game.  She ran as fast as those little legs could take her!

It's one of Matt's favorite things to share the football games with his girls.
