FWSSR

Today is Gigi's birthday.  We took them to the rodeo first thing this morning and had lunch at Kincaid's.  Happy Birthday Gigi!

Gold Standard!

Morgan Leigh was awarded the gold standard student award today.  It is a new award to our school, but essentially one child from each grade is chosen for the award.  They called and said she would be honored with a "high" award.  Matt was able to record the whole description of her and her character.  Cupcake, we couldn't be any prouder of you!  Congratulations!

Lunch date

Ask the girls where they want to eat and it can be really interesting.  The "fancy place where you get to fill your own plate" is a common favorite.  Matt wasn't too sorry to miss lunch today.

Books, books and books

AG got this gigantic book from my mom on her last visit.  She has carried it with her everywhere.  She would read most of the day if she could!

Sick day

Morgan Leigh wasn't feeling well this morning.  She stayed home with me, but seemed instantly better when Nonna got her a new Lego set.

Hot Chocolate

We broke out the fancy hot chocolate for our afternoon snack today.  It's time to cuddle up and watch some Fixer Upper.

Jiggle butt run

This year my PEO chapter did the Jiggle Butt Run to support one of our members.  It was a CHILLY morning.  AG and I had fun, but needed a little Starbucks to warm ourselves on the ride home!

Dance lessons

This might be the perfect Friday night in my opinion.  A little Pearson Pizza, some Texas Country, a little two stepping and don't forget a doting daddy.

School projects

ML has a dinosaur project due right after our break.  She is diligently working away on her sentences.
