Sweet E

Our friends joined us for dinner tonight and the men moved into watch sports.  (Maybe basketball??) The girls could have cared less and wanted Matt to talk to them!  E definitely loves on Matt when he is around.

Wet!

We decided to put a small pool in the backyard this summer.  It's not big, but it's wet.  Happy Summer!

Porch time

Summer time

ML woke up yesterday and said, "it's summer!"  Poor AG though...she still has days left....lots of them.  ML and I took advantage of the beautiful morning and headed to our zoo with our friends. 

Pool party

Morgan Leigh's sweet friend celebrated her birthday today with a pool party.  These two are a little inseparable, in a very sweet way!

But I will say, this was by far my favorite moment of the day.  AG had taken a swimming break to sit near the chex mix.  E's grandfather came over to share the bowl.  I have no idea what they were chatting about....but they were there for a while.  I love seeing her with these older members of our church.  So special!

Playdates and treats

I needed to pick up some treats for the school today.  I am pretty sure you don't walk into our favorite bakery and not walk out with a treat.  So the girls picked their favorites to end the playdate with a bang!

First and last days!

We snapped this as we were leaving for our very first day of preschool. 

This was meet the teacher day for the start of her 4's class!

And finally, her last day of pre-school.  As I said last night we were blessed to find this school.  I will miss the staff dearly!  Onto the next chapter!

Graduation day!

Today is the day.  We are so proud of our little cupcake!  She has changed leaps and bounds this year!

We stopped to take some pictures before we headed to the church tonight.  These sweet girls love one another so much!  Such a special bond for these two girls!

Morgan Leigh came in and showed us where to sit.  And then processed in with her class.

We had some special friends join us tonight.  Here she is with her godmother.  How thankful we are that she could come tonight!

This in our last child in preschool and I couldn't imagine a better experience for these girls.  The staff is amazing and I will miss their smiles, hugs, prayers and laughter.  Thanks everyone for celebrating with us!!

 

Golf?

Colonial is this coming week.  They put on a great event for the kids every year so this year we went to check it out.  Radio Disney was there though so the girls had very little interest in "playing golf"

Crawfish

Today we went to a friend's home for a crawfish boil.  It was so nice of them to host all of us and we had crawfish too!  What a treat.

Bike ride

The girls love to get their bikes out on the trail.  Today they stopped in the wildflwoers.  We missed the bluebonnets entirely this year!

District Walk

Nothing like a dress down day to get the family off the couch for exercise today.  Anna Grace was dying to go so that she could wear normal clothes to school one day next week.  ML had to pose under the giant yellow jacket.

Mother's Day picnic

Today was the annual mother's day picnic at school.  Love this shot with my cupcake!  Matt was able to join us spontaneously too.  What a treat!

Countdown!

No one here is excited about summer!  We are on the countdown....even though AG still has A LOT left!

Partner or pest?

Some days it is hard to know if she is more of a nuisance or a friend.  Today, she literally fell asleep on my yoga mat.  But, I'll admit she was just about the right dog for us!

Roller Skating!

Anna Grace's friend had a roller skating party today.  This little one totally had the hang of it!

AG - well, it took her some time but she was doing pretty well by the end.  We will definitely have to remember this for the hot days this summer.

Peter Pan

This might be the highlight of our Casa shows for me this year.  I love the story and seeing Peter Pan fly.  We started the evening with Cane Rosso too.  Yippee!
