Zoo trip

We met the Cox's at the zoo today and Anna Grace really got excited about a few of the animals. I wish you could see and hear how funny she was in front of the elephants! She was very intent on saying hello to all of them.

Outfit

We saw some adorable skirts in Canton, and came home and made one very similar. Here she is sporting the new skirt.

Long hair

Anna Grace's hair is getting long, it desperately needs the bows and barrettes I put in every morning. She's also sporting a cute little dress from Kathy Dalrymple. She's worn it a lot this summer, but I don't think I have blogged about it before. Thanks Kathy!

Mail call

We always look at the mail together. It usually involves a huge mess for me to clean up later, but she's pretty funny flipping through catalogs.

All Aboard

the animal train....I could sing the whole thing, but I will spare you. AG got this great toy from the Butak's for her birthday. She was a little intimidated at first, but now she will send it across the room over and over and over!

Two step

While waiting for dinner the other night, this is how Matt entertained Anna Grace. I think she loved it.

Lunch date

We just had a fantastic lunch with Kyla and her kids. We loved the patio and the kids were able to roam and play. Here are Weston and AG with Cheerios and sunglasses. Don't let the picture fool you though, she wasn't quite as friendly and sharing as it appears, she had just stolen the glasses away from Weston right before this.

Swinging

It was a gorgeous morning yesterday and we took advantage of that with a trip to the park. Anna Grace finally took to the swings.

Big kids

Sometimes I think that we just need someone to show us how fun our toys are. Hunter was over last night and took a spin on AG's car, and suddenly today it wasn't scary.

Truly a little girl!

Finally!

I have gotten a picture that no one will look at and say she looks just like daddy...I was closer to 2 in this picture, judging by the date on the back, but I remember doing this for a long time. We had a railing on our deck that I couldn't see over, but if I got down like this, I could at least see under.

Oh and the outfit from Courtney fits without alterations...the trick, bigger diapers :)

We miss grandma!

We were grateful to have her here for 2 whole weeks! She hasn't even been gone for 24 hours and we already miss her. Anna Grace acted as if she hadn't eaten in days for the amount of time it took me to get her breakfast served. It always seemed to go faster with grandma here.

This post serves another purpose as well. We have several people that check this that have commented that she's always smiling. I just wanted to prove that most of the time that is true, but not always :)

Rocking chairs

I think it may be time for one her own size.

or No rules. I guess that's why grandmas are so fun. This was eating dinner yesterday, grandma thought Anna Grace was enjoying it more with her hands. So she had it everywhere. And you can kind of see that I had her hair in a top knot, but she took it out.

The next picture is Anna Grace emptying Grandma's wallet. See there really are no rules when grandmas are concerned.

23 days

Until Anna Grace experiences her first aggie football game. In preparation for the game we are trying really hard to get Gig 'em down. :) She is wearing a cute little pink onesie today from Judy Gregor.

Friends

Anna Grace thinks that Bailey is one of her best friends. She often walks back to his bed and interupts his nap. She says, "woof, woof" every time she sees him too!

First molars

I noticed something in AG's mouth today during lunch. After investigating, I found 2 new molars on the right, top and bottom. Crazy how fast they come in, she is probably going to cut the ones on the left any time, they are right there.

Canton trip

You might have noticed the lack of posts this past week. Grandma Jackie is here we have been so busy. Yesterday was full of shopping all the way in Canton. It was a very long, very hot day, but AG was a trooper.

I snapped this today in one of the Canton purchases. (The cutest part is the bottom that has her name with rhinestone accents)

Elmo

Anna Grace got this Elmo book with sounds from Gigi and grandpa for her birthday. I started bouncing her on my lap while reading it and it became an instant favorite. But when Matt got home from work last night she wanted him to read it. I love this shot, she is jumping up and down with the sounds.
