A Doggie sounds

More family shots

Do you ever wonder "where's the camera" when you are missing the shot of the weekend? Kyle was sitting on the kitchen floor and Anna Grace backed into him and sat on his lap for him to read a book to her. Betsy and I both fumbled for a camera and this is what we got, a moment too late....

Reading the Reveille book with daddy.

Stealing toys from Wade or giving sugar, it's hard to say which.

Playing legos with Gigi.

And lastly a picture of Wade smiling...

Proud daddy

Watching aggie football, need I say more?

Round Rock visit

We met the Reagans in Round Rock for a quick weekend. It was great to see everyone and think about how much things have changed in the last few years. We used to comfortably fill the Pearson house, now we are bursting at the seams, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I can't wait for the time when the kids will be pulling out sleeping bags and seeing it as a huge slumber party and giggling into the wee hours.

Here is AG watching aunt Besty get ready for a shower.

And "sharing" toys with cousin Kyle.

Balloons...

Yet another reason that I love shopping at Central Market, they give you balloons. We don't always get them, but we did yesterday and Anna Grace had a blast with it.

We aso had success in the shoe area yesterday. For those of you that haven't heard this, I have been totally stressed because I couldn't get her to wear hard-soled shoes. Anyway, look for a video soon, because really the pictures don't do the shoes justice.

First Haircut

Another first for Anna Grace. Matt and I took her to the cutest place today called Sweet & Sassy. It is all GIRL! It is pink feather boas, and little girls getting manicures and they blare girly music. I loved it, Matt endured. She sat on my lap for the haircut, had a princess smock on and Cynnamon (her hair stylist) even gave her a girly sucker. Here are a few pics and of course a video.

Daddy missed me!

Too soon

This will happen only too soon, but I did capture one picture. The foot started out with the knee about the height of the cushion and then it was a little higher and higher....The climbing is just begining.

Watching the aggies

Oops! I forgot to pack something for the game....maybe that is why they looked so terrible, because Anna Grace wasn't dressed appropriately...Ok, so if I make that excuse for Miami, look for more excuses for OU, tu, Tech, and who knows maybe even Baylor and OSU...

Books

A trip wouldn't be complete without some pictures of books. The first is with Gigi and the book by Billy Crystal, I already know I Love you. It is the sweetest book, and had Anna Grace sat still enough to read the whole book, I don't know that Gigi could have finished it with a dry eye.
The next one is the Anna Grace on the step to the living room. Perfect to sit on and read to yourself!
And this last one is Gigi with AG reading the Reveille book.

Gigi and Grandpa's

We left Tuesday morning to visit Gigi and grandpa. We had a short visit, I can't believe how fast it went. But, I will say we are fortunate to have both sets of grandparents close enough to do this when we want.

New car seat

We have moved Anna Grace out of the infant seat. She was so excited to see the new seat she crawled in and out several times while Matt and I were reading the instructions.

Lake visit

We spent Friday evening with the Cox's. Bart, Carol, Shanon, Jeff, Hunter and Stoney that is. We got to dinner and AG was playing with Stoney and it was adorable, but not one of us had our camera. So you'll just have to take my word for it.

Shanon and Jeff were nice enough to include us in their lake trip today. We drove to Lake Granbury and spent about 4 hours on the lake. Anna Grace was her typical "go with the flow" self. I think she even started to enjoy it towards the end. Here she is on the dock when we returned, still in her life jacket. Matt learned to surf in the wake and we had a blast. We can't say thank you enough for their generosity, it was so much fun!
I should also mention that she was also appropriately dressed thanks to Aunt Susan and Uncle Rick. She had on the most adorable little terry coverup, even if you can't see it for the life vest.

Gig 'Em

Every morning I stand in front of Anna Grace's closet to pick out what she will wear. When I ask what she wants to wear she always reaches for this jumper. Seeing as how her daddy always wears A&M gear on Fridays before game day, she is wearing the adorable jumper today.

Lucky 13

Anna Grace cut her 13th tooth yesterday and took a 4 hour nap because of it. We had so much fun with her last night, if only pictures had sound. She was sitting in daddy's chair with me last night and was giggling so much she snorted. It was hilarious and left me saying, "do it again"!

Hats

Anna Grace still isn't a fan of wearing a hat. She usually is reaching to take it off right after you put it on. But now she is starting to try to put them on herself, only to take them right off again.

A&M vs Fresno St.

Matt went to a nail biter of a game yesterday, and he only took 2 pictures. (Anna Grace and I hung out in College Station with grandma) One of the pics is of the stands during the overtimes...Kind of funny that the whole student section was moving with the ball. AG and I were sorry to miss the game, but not the heat.
The next is of us at our new tailgating spot (which I love!) We are hanging out in the pavillion out of the pouring rain. You can even see how wet I was!

Hair Bows

AG would be content to play with her bows for hours on end. Maybe that's why she won't leave them in her hair. I haven't given up though. I put one in everyday, they usually last about 5 minutes.

Doors

Anna Grace loves to open and close the doors, pretty much anywhere in the house. We have these doors that can close off the hallway and they are often closed when we are home alone. But they were open on Friday and she was opening and closing them to her hearts content.

Especially the red beans. It was fun to share our new fish place with Jason, Kyla, Tyler and Weston.

Labor day weekend

We went to Round Rock this weekend for several reasons. The first being that Gigi is recovering from surgery and we are so grateful to know that she is healing quickly. The second was so that Matt could work on his truck with Grandpa, and the 3rd was so that we could take Anna Grace to her first aggie game. Here are some pics from our fantastic weekend.

C/O '28

We were so excited to take AG to her first aggie game, but also a little apprehensive. Having said that, have I bragged how good our little girl is? We loaded up from Round Rock this morning and headed to College Station.

We stopped and ate our favorite chicken sandwiches, yummy!

We had to take a picture outside the stadium. Matt has one of our engagement pics with this background on his desk. It seemed only appropriate to take one with his little girl too!

We took this shot of the scoreboard for my brothers, who both went to MSU. It was also the first college football game that I ever went to.

This is about how AG stayed for the entire game. She was a great sport. She didn't squirm, she just took it all in. She danced to the band and waved to the people on 12th Man TV. Here's to the first of many aggie games. AG class of '28....
