Tomatoes!

Our tomatoes finally started producing.  And we had 50 tomatoes that we had to pick.  They were still green, but it isn't warm enough to ripen them.  She is super proud that we grew these heirlooms from seed.

Magnolia detour

 I mentioned to the girls that we would be passing through Waco on our way home today.  They consider Chip and Joanna our personal friends so they sweet talked Matt into stopping.  I think they were shocked at how many people were in the store and more than a little disappointed that we didn't have a one on one meeting with Jo Jo.

Rolandos

 A visit to San Antonio simply wouldn't be complete without a stop at our favorite breakfast spot.

Pie making

 We are getting the pies ready for tomorrow.  The girls are helping peel apples and make the crust.  

Math lessons

 Daddy never stops teaching math, even over happy hour.  I heard him explaining inverses to my 9 year old that hasn't done fractions yet!

Birthday gifts

 We gave my dad this growler this year for Christmas.  The girls have gotten quite a kick out of the fact that he drinks very little water.  :)

Shopping at Chico's

The girls and I went shopping with Nonna today.  Right next door to their favorite shop in Nonna's favorite shop.  So we popped in and patiently waited for her to try on some things.  My girls keep talking about how much one of the sweaters cost and it keeps mom and I laughing!

Aggie girls

 At dinner tonight Matt was quizzing the girls on their favorite aggie players.  ML says Speedy, AG says Kyler Murray, and daddy says Garrett.  Anyone player on the team would have made this daddy proud that his girls know their players!

Go canton!

We got a call that our dear friends from Canton would be halfway closer to us for a play off game tonight.  We switched plans around and met them for dinner and a game.  The girls were completely concerned that we wouldn't have on the right colors to root for the team.  They lost, but it was such a treat to be in the stands for true Friday Night Lights!

Fun run

 We were supposed to have a Fun Run before the Walkathon too.  A quick 1 mile to see if anyone could keep up with Mr. Hazen.  The weather forced us to reschedule and today was the day.  It was perfect and quick and so much fun!  It's Matt's day off and I'm sure he was hoping to be an intersection monitor for the morning!

 These girls have asked and worked and baked in order to meet their goal for the Walkathon.  I will tell you that we have the most generous friends and family!  Thank you to everyone that helped.  

Gig 'Em

The girls are excited to go to another aggie game today.  We asked what was on their agenda - first thing?  Shopping!  We had made a deal with them for the Halloween game that we would be back and swore wer would get them some new aggie gear.  First things first though, their absolute favorite burger ever from Koppe Bridge.  Matt and I were struck by that one because I can honestly say I've never tried one!

 Then we were onto shopping and tailgating.  We were at the TexAgs tailgate today and the girls patiently watched some adults play a few rounds and then were quick to say our turn.

 And lastly sporting their new gear.  ML chose "Aggies don't cheer we yell" and AG chose, " Fearfully and wonderfully made"  Cutie pies!

Fire pit

It's the perfect night for a fire!  But apparently I threw all the marshmallows out and haven't replaced them.  No S'mores tonight, but soon.  Happy Friday!

Spanish reader

 I love when the kids read to us.  ML took the time to show us her AR book in Spanish.  She doesn't bring these home very often because we aren't much help!

All Saint's Sunday

 The kids all performed a song today during the church offering.    It is always so special to see the kids lift their voices in praise.
