Lunch with Tyler and Wes

Anna Grace can be heard saying Tyler over and over. When asked to say Weston, only Wes comes out, but he doesn't seem to mind.

Here are the 3 of them hanging out at Taco Cabana.

Kyla always manages to snap these gorgeous pics of Anna Grace. :)

Watching airplanes

Matt mowed the yard this afternoon and I came out to see this.

Homemade rolls

It is one of my favorite treats to have fresh rolls with dinner. Anna Grace helped me whip up a batch tonight before dinner. I know she had a good time, but her blue shirt looks a little white with flour :)

New park

My friends MJ and Emily introduced us to a new park today. I cannot tell you how many Sundays we drive by it leaving church and yet I have never noticed it! Anyway, AG played with Fielding and Sadie at the park today.

V and Nonna

What a wonderful week we had in San Antonio with them. Thanks for having us, for getting up with us, and mostly for cleaning up after us. We love you!

Feeding the fish

Grandpa put goldfish in the pond years ago. I think all the grandkids love to go out and help him feed the fish. She would point to where he keeps the food every time we were outside and say "food". What a good grandpa!

King Williams Fair

Here are grandpa and AG enjoying the parade. It was all to humor mom and I as we shopped. Thanks to grandpa, Matt and mostly Anna Grace for their patience.

Matt says this one should be titled "viva Fiesta".

Nonna's earrings

Tonight Anna Grace took all of Nonna's jewelry tonight and insisted that she should wear it. Earrings too, even though there isn't anywhere to hang them.

Lunch date

We met Miss Debbie today for lunch at the Lighthouse. Anna Grace wore her smocked dress, isn't it cute :)

Snacks

Snacks at Grandma's are right at Anna Grace's level. She has found the Fiber One and loves it. You know, (or maybe you don't), the one that looks like twigs.

Bye-bye!

After leaving Salado, Anna Grace and I came to San Antonio. Today she was carrying around Nonna's keys and talking on the phone.

Notice the cute little shirt that I made. It was an idea from Betsy, and I think it turned out super cute.

Salado weekend

Matt and I took a much needed time to spend a weekend with each other in Salado. Grant and Amy met us there and we sent AG to spend some time with Gigi and Grandpa. It was a gorgeous weekend and we ate, ate and ate some more. I had a great time and hope that everyone else did as well.

There are surely pictures on Gigi's camera of all the fun they had. They had a lot of fun I am sure. Thanks to both Gigi and grandpa for letting us take some time for us.

Zoo with Stoney

I met Shanon today at the zoo while she is enjoying some time off. It was supposed to be windy today and we opted to go anyway. It was Stoney's first trip and I think he was overwhelmed that there was more than one exhibit.

I think he would have been happy just to see the monkeys. Here he is. What a cutie.

Here's one last picture looking in the otter bubble.
It was so fun to be there with them. As always lunch was a bunch of trading. It doesn't matter what I pack for Anna Grace what Stoney has always looks better. Luckily, Stoney feels the same way. :)

Feeding baby

Anna Grace was putting her baby to sleep last night and started feeding her. Too cute!
Her language is changing daily.
She just spouts off with new words. I love it! Today she kept saying Betsy over and over. It's good we visited her this weekend I guess :) New words include cracker, rice, fish, Haleigh, Fi and many others. What a fun age!

Happy Birthday Daddy

In honor of Matt's birthday Anna Grace and I made Red Velvet cake today. Well, actually we made Red Velvet Cupcakes. (Can you tell how much I love the tower that Matt built!?)
Anyway, I let them cool during her nap and thought she would enjoy helping me frost them when she woke up. She did enjoy the frosting. So much, that I had to call Matt inside to eat one with her. I didn't think it would be fair if she ate the first one on his birthday. As you can tell, we got about 6 of the mini-cupcakes frosted before we had to eat one :)
Happy Birthday Daddy!

Quick trip

Aunt Betsy and her kids were in Round Rock for the week. We made a quick trip down to visit them Friday night. It is always fun to see all the kids together.

Wade has an certain affection for male relatives. Here he and Matt are enjoying the book about trucks. :)

Here is one last photo before we hit the road again. It was great to see y'all.

White bread

Alright, so I am still quite freaky about what Anna Grace is allowed to eat. However, because she has been so sick, I am strictly sticking to the list of foods that the doctor told me to feed her.
Having said all that, the list this week: white bread (gasp), saltines (double gasp), applesauce, bananas...etc. The gasps have to do with the fact that those have absolutely no nutrional value.
So today was her first white bread sandwich. You know how the white bread has a tendency to stick to your teeth and the roof of your mouth? I was cracking up at the look on her face and had to snap a few pictures. She looks very concerned.

Long week...

So it wasn't food poisoning after all and it was contagious. Poor Anna Grace has been sick every day since Tuesday. I have enjoyed a lot of quiet time with her, but it doesn't quite seem fair to her.
Today is the first day that I thought she was really back to herself, but she just got sick again.
I finally got my sewing machine back and finished a dress for her. What a cutie!
