The arch

Matt was after some fun things to do on our way home.  We played tourist today in St. Louis.  We ate a fabulous sandwich shop and then walked to the arch.

This little tram car holds 5.  Although, it would be super tight with 5 adults!

And finally at the top.  ML looked out both sides and said can we go now!

John Deere

We had dinner with Wendy along the river and walked by the tractor displays.  So gratfeful to be able to finish the wedding weekend with more family time!

Great Grandma Larson

We were so close to Great Grandma's that we took a detour this afternoon.  We stopped in and had ice cream with her.  So glad to snap a picture with her and the girls!

The party

The girls did so well at the wedding.  It's time for the celebration!

There was lots of dancing.  I think the girls missed very few songs on the dance floor.

Anna Grace was so glad to hear that Taylor was joining us at the wedding.  Always fun to see family at events like this!

Anna Grace wanted to learn the Cotton-Eyed Joe.  I can't believe that she didn't know it yet!

Daddy and I couldn't miss a chance to dance to Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline.  One of our shared favorite songs!

Morgan Leigh grabbed my camera and I am pretty sure that you could hear a little piece of Joe's heart join with hers.

This is one of her pics.  Pretty good - although it's hard to get a bad shot of this bride!

I am not exaggerating at all when I tell you that neither Kristi or AG would leave without a pic of the two of them.  So special to see them bond like this!

Oh and how can you not love this shot.  Shoes off, dancing with her daddy!  We had so much fun celebrating Jordan and Andrew!  Here's to many happy, blessed years together.  We love you both!

Jordan and Andrew

We are all dressed and ready to go.  We are so blessed to have an amazing photographer in the family too!  A lot of these pictures are his, just to give Joe credit.  They turned out gorgeous!

There are too many good ones to just choose a few!

I just love, love, love this pic!  Beautiful church and beautiful cousin!

The next few are from Jordie's photographer.

If I had to choose just one picture of getting ready, this is it.  I was standing off to the side and watching the way they all interact.  It is truly a special relationship that my girls have with these cousins that are almost old enough to be their aunts and uncle.

Wedding prep

We got to the church on time with our hair done.  Score one for me!

They were very excited to put on their lovely dresses!

It's picture time for real now!

Pearson Park

It's kind of a family tradition to take pictures here.  This park was named after Matt's grandfather.

I can only imagine how many kiddos play on this equipment every year.

Well and one big kid of course.  ML conned him into getting on and I said, "hold on hold on tight!!"

Rehersal!

Everyone is a little misty tonight.  We are crying happy tears as she readies for the big day.

A little dancing during happy hour is always appropriate.

Cheers to many happy years!

ML was freezing and she found people's laps to keep her warm most of the evening.  But I think she stayed on her uncle Brad's for the longest.

They were so excited to get a gift from Jordan too!  What a fun night, but I expect tomorrow will be even better!

Bridal Luncheon

The girls are part of the wedding this weekend and therefore got to be part of the bridal luncheon.  They specifically asked for curly hair today.  This is quite the undertaking!

But the results I will admit are adorable.

We love to celebrate special people, and Jordan is one at the top of our list.  Pretty sure that Morgan Leigh has held her hand a dozen times so far.

We have also known one of Jordan's closest friends for a long time.  But today Kristi and Anna Grace made this very special connection too.  Anna Grace swoons at the mention of her name now.  What a fabulous way to surround sweet Jordan with her people!

Happy Birthday cupcake!

We had the wheels rolling before 4 a.m.  4 a.m.!  We are heading to Iowa today for Jordan's wedding, but not to be left out this is Morgan Leigh's big day!  Matt always laughs about these eye masks, but look it's light out and she's still asleep!

We stopped at Whataburger in Norman for a little nibble.  She can hardly wait for my family to gather for "her birthday".  We may also be gathering for a wedding, but that's not until Saturday!

It was so fun it was to get to see our cousins for happy hour and dinner.  (and have enchiladas of course!)

And a giant cake!  Happy Birthday sweet Morgan Leigh.  Every day we count you as one of the many blessings God has given us.

Early celebrations

We won't get to see Gigi and Grandpa on Morgan Leigh's actual birthday.  The offered to take her to dinner tonight instead.  A few presents and a dinner at Chuy's of course!

Happy Father's day!

There are simply not enough ways to celebrate this man!  He is an incredible father!   I am blessed to get to parent alongside him.
