Post-garage sale

We got an invite for dinner and margaritas tonight during the garage sale.  It was the perfect end to our day.

Garage sale day

Today was garage sale day at our home.  It is really boring for the girls though and I sent Matt and the girls way to the park.

Nothing like daddy to let you climb to the very top of an rope  pyramid in flip flops.

It is one of my favorite spring traditions with the girls.  We have this great spot for bluebonnets near our home.  These were the shots from today.  We followed it with a fun trip to Sonic.  What a lovely Sunday!

Belle

Morgan Leigh has always loved Belle of all the princesses.  Tonight we started Beauty and the Beast.  She was sitting up clapping and so excited!

Finally!

I started this BOM quilt in 2004 while living in Detroit.  I did the majority of the work while living there.  But I have put it behind many other projects for several years.  I have made countless baby quilts, all with a deadline of a new baby.  But I finally finished something for myself.  YEAH!

Crazy girl

It's spring time and I love the open sunroof.  ML often says it's hot though and rides like this.  She definitely "makes me laugh"!

Hotels

Matt and I have never really gotten excited about staying in a hotel.  And now the word dread probably describes the experience best.  We were in College Station this fall and the girls giggled at least 3 hours past bedtime.  The girls on the other hand act like it is a really big deal to sleep in a hotel.  So after Blue Bell and after the baseball we checked in.  They giggled until about 9 and then we caught this moment.

And this one.  ML gets the prize, because no one else loves to sleep with AG's wild habits!

Bluebonnets

I couldn't resist stopping in the first good bluebonnet patch of the year!

Blue Bell

A few weeks ago Matt asked AG if she wanted to go to a game at the new Blue Bell Park. When she asked what Blue Bell was we knew that a detour was in order.

We left this morning for Brenham and were able to meet Gigi and Grandpa for lunch and a tour of the Blue bell creamery. It was such a fun tour! We snapped lots of pictures outside since you can't take your camera inside.

And then we loaded them up for the new Blue Bell Park. Apparently the 45 minute drive was longer than the sugar high though.

And here they are in front of the newly remodeled ballpark.  The transformation is really amazing.  There is a sign inside from SI that says the best ballpark in college baseball.

There is even a playground for the kids.  What a fun day!

Strollers

Nonna has two strollers at her home for the baby dolls. Today daddy and V let them walk those all the way down to the elementary school and back. So fun!

It was a beautiful night to enjoy eating outside.

Park visit

We met a high school friend of mine at an elementary school today to catch up. The girls loved being at this particular park and AG did the monkey bars!

Six weeks reward

We took Anna Grace to Amy's for her behavior reward. (She is always generous enough to include her sister too, even though it's her choice) Nothing like eating ice cream that flies through the air!

After dinner tonight I let the girls put their toes in the water and it quickly turned into a dip!

Nonna's time

We have been trying to snap a new photo of nonna and my girls for almost two years now! Finally success!

Birthday fun

We went to a birthday party tonight and got to see some of our favorite pre-school friends.

Sugar sugar sugar

Anna Grace has become a little obsessed with sugar content. Can't imagine where she would get that idea :)

Zoo trip

We went to the zoo today. It was so windy, but that is ok at our zoo. ML is typically scared of most animals and she started waving to the birds and saying hi. I asked if she wanted to feed them and she enthusiastically said yes. What a fun first!

The tower

We moved the tower out of the kitchen during the remodel and never brought it back in. Matt repainted it and ML was super excited it was back in the kitchen again.
