SA trip

Anna Grace's reward for a LONG 5 hour car ride was walking into a restaurant to see Nonna and V.

We went to finish the rest of Nonna's Christmas present. We got her new overhead lighting for her sewing studio. Matt went to do a professional installation and it looks fantastic. He is so amazing at all things "handy", and I often take that for granted.

We spent the rest of the weekend shopping (AG got a new backpack for school from Nonna), baking cookies and finally we had some friends over to celebrate Valentine's with us. Mom and dad had a wonderful dinner all ready for Andrew, Alexis and Andra. Here's Anna Grace showing Andra how to feed the milk to her baby doll.

Happy Valentine's

I snapped a few shots as Anna Grace unloaded all of her Valentines on Thursday. She got cards from Cousin Haleigh, Uncle Brad and Aunt Kim, Great Grandma Larson and Counsin Jordie. She loves to get mail so it was a banner day in our house.
Thanks everyone for making her day special.

Snooze

Anna Grace told Matt she was going to take a sleep today while I was fixing dinner. She crawled into the bassinet part of her doll stroller and closed her eyes.

Tricycle

Anna Grace got this for her birthday last year. We have taken out for several spins, but today she got the hang of the whole thing. She pedaled and steered all by herself!

Lil' P update

We went to the doctor today for our 20 week sonogram today. Everything looks fantastic according to the technician and the doctor. We chose again not to find out the sex of Lil P, sorry to disappoint y'all! I will post pictures when our scanner is up and running again. :) I gained 3 pounds from the last visit, which puts me 1 pound over where I started.

Anna Grace was a champ waiting for 3 hours to see the doctor. By the end there were only a few of us left in the waiting room, and she was providing all the entertainment. As we were waiting someone asked what her favorite music was. She responded, "Pat Green, Johnny Cash..." the man asked, "do you like the Wiggles?" AG just looked at him since she never has heard the wiggles. Then she belted out, "Everybody wants to go to Heaven"

Also, on a random note, we were looking through the VCR tapes and came across the one from Anna Grace. It was taken on Feb. 9, 2006. Isn't that funny?!?

Dallas dinner

About this time last year, we loaded up and went to Dallas for a dinner with some of my sorority sisters from college. I had a blast then, and we did it again last night. It was just as much fun, with lots of laughter! Here are all the girls, and I just realized that I cropped precious little Kate (6 weeks) right out of the photo. oops!

Anna Grace spent most of the evening following Sophie around. I think they had a blast, but she was exhausted. I snapped this as she was saying good-bye. She had just said good-bye to Jack and snuck in a kiss, much to his dismay!

Thanks for hosting all of us Amy, and letting the kids turn the house upside down. I promise to host the next one!

Sewing lessons

Anna Grace loves the sewing machine. Mostly because it is off limits for touching and that makes those buttons all the more appealing. A few weeks ago, Matt was putting her to bed and she told him that tomorrow Mommy's going to buy me a sewing machine, a bright shiny one! I still get a giggle out of that.
Yesterday she got her first "lesson" sitting on my lap. She was hooked and very impatient for all the in between sewing parts. I remember "helping" my mom sew when I was growing up. One particular day, I crawled to her feet and used white shoe polish all over her black foot pedal. Years later I inherited that sewing machine complete with white foot pedal.

New bookshelf

This has been my most recent request from Matt. He built a bookshelf for all of Anna Grace's books. It's about 8" longer than I asked for, but it's pretty full already! Here they are loading it up with the books.

Daddy time

Daddy came home from work yestereday and took AG out in the backyard. I walked out and it looked like they were having so much fun. :)

She got a few good kicks on the soccer ball, but mostly played with the oversized beach ball. She loves to spend time outside and I look forward to the more consistent weather so that can be an everyday thing.

Super Bowl Sunday

We went to Allison's again this year for the Super Bowl. It was great to see them again! Anna Grace loves going over there and playing with their puppy, Cooper. She doesn't really understand to throw his toys, but she did get to feed him some food.
After that she started begging for their guitars. She would have been happy just holding it, but John Chris even turned on Guitar Hero for her. :)
Thanks for having us y'all!
