Good parenting

One of our favorite summer hangouts has been 8.0's on Wednesday nights. They have a live Texas Music Series and we have seen Cory Morrow, Randy Rogers Band, Jack Ingram, Jason Boland, etc. Well, Kevin invited us last night and we thought why not?!? Anna Grace loves Texas country too. Here she is (at a bar) enjoying the music her way.

As you can tell, Anna Grace really enjoyed the band.

Rattles!

Anna has mastered grabbing this rattle and today she even took it to her mouth. Of course that was followed by banging herself in the head. OUCH!

TGIF

We went to a girl's lunch today and Anna was just her normal happy self. This was when I was getting ready and she was patiently waiting for me.













Then tonight we got dressed in a gown from Meredith. Isn't she precious?!? Meredith just knew I would love it and I couldn't resist getting a picture of her back. She is our little angel, for sure.

Updates

Matt complained that there weren't new things on the blog...not that he is ever updating it.

Anna Grace at her first aggie parade last Saturday. You can almost make out the band right over Matt's shoulder. She slept through the entire parade and the air horns.

Dress Up

Kevin gave us the most adorable outfit for Anna Grace. Unfortunately, the hat was not a hit. We will have to try for better pics in the future with it on :)
















We also finally got to dress Anna Grace in this cute little outfit from Gigi. Grandma needed to alter the bottoms so that they would stay on our skinny little girl. We have had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa this week...now if only they would move to Lake Granbury we could do this all the time!

San Antonio visit

We came to visit for a week. Here is a picture of grandma showing Anna Grace her feet.








This was Sunday morning, grandpa reading a story. The biggest excitement of the day though was definitely Bailey getting sprayed by the skunk. What a fun Sunday evening that led to! Poor Bailey has been subjected to two baths of a horrible concoction.

2 months

Anna Grace is officially 2 months old. We took these last night and I am posting the one with her legs in the air. She could quite possibly be a yoga or pilates master with the ab work she does daily.


We also had our monthly checkup and 4 shots today. She wasn't too fond of the shots and is sleeping most of the day away. She now weighs in at 9 lbs 14oz (25th percentile), 23" (80th percentile, 15.5" head (60th percentile).

Labor Day weekend

We traveled to see the grandparents for Labor Day weekend. Anna Grace stayed in Round Rock while we went to the football game and Sunday we had all 4 grandparents together. She is so lucky that is a common occurrence for us.
