I handed AG a sheet of stickers and asked her if she wanted to play with them. Two seconds later they were all over her legs. "Cheese" mommy.

Daddy had the day off, Happy Easter Monday! We decided to go to the zoo since it wasn't spring break anymore. Here is AG enjoying daddy's shoulders in front of the giraffes.
Daddy also made us go into parts I would never set foot in. It is the reptile and herpetarium, ICK! Anyway, here is Anna Grace mimicking the snake. I was cracking up.
And lastly, here she is standing in the otter bubble. He kept swimming right by her and it almost looked like she could've touched it!We hope that y'all had a wonderful Easter filled with all of God's blessings.

Instead, we headed to the botanic gardens and spent the morning looking at pretty flowers and picnicing. It was a gorgeous day!
Yesterday we were able to break out the Easter egg dye. Here she is with V, my little "cheese" star, obviously smiling at the other camera :)
And I bought the "camo" dye kit this year which was a flop except that it had stickers :) And AG loves stickers.
Gigi and grandpa came on Thursday afternoon. In fact, I wish I had a picture to post of her standing in the window after her nap waiting for them. Tiptoe and all :)
Friday we went to the park in the morning and daddy was home by 2. We went to the stockyards on Friday afternoon. Here's AG watching the horses go by. Can you think of anywhere else where you have to wait for horses to cross a street?
After a quick walking tour AG spotted the mini-carousel. We had such a time when we rode an actual one I have been quite skeptical. However, for $.25 we gave it a whirl. For real, it was a quarter.
Then it was back to Love Shack for one of my favorite burgers in town. And for those of you who need to know, that's her Shiner in front of her. Anyway, if any of you are up for a fine burger, give us a shout. We are up for that ANYTIME!
On Saturday I suggested that we build one ourselves. In typical daddy fashion, he went out to the garage during nap time and whipped one out. Here it is "in process" and AG loves it. She is totally contained while I cook and can help stir and everything.
We have cooked quite a few things already. She would be smiling, except her mouth is full of peanuts.
We went to John and Candice's again today for a crawfish boil. Anna Grace kept walking over to the cooler and peeking at them. When they were on the grass she was waving and saying hello.
As usual they were wonderful hosts and our bellies are full of yummy food. Thanks y'all!
Oh and later, AG could be seen playing fetch with Cooper (their dog). They were great playmates today.
Grant & Amy came over to go to Pappa's burgers with us last night. Anna Grace was totally taken with them being at the house. She had to show Miss Amy all of her toys and crawled straight onto her lap so she could read her some stories. She even crawled onto the sofa to imitate Grant as he was trying to recover from such a big dinner.
