We had some surprise company last night through happy hour, dinner and bedtime. Matt's cousin Ben was in for the evening for work. We did a sock bun while they were out to pick up dinner and AG always loves the results for a Friday!
Not to be outdone, my little cupcake did her own hair this Friday. She is so excited to go to school every day! I love her enthusiasm!
I just couldn't resist the caramel apples at Costco today. I mean who doesn't love a giant apple covered in caramel and candy? It was the perfect aftershool treat.
We usually try to get the girls to one game every fall. We started with lunch at Chicken Oil because you can't miss out on Tijuana fries. 
This pic is for Jordie because she literally tailgated last weekend. We were getting all ready for the game and couldn't resist the photo op.

We went to Kid's yell practice with the yell leaders!! So sweet of them to pose with all the kids.
The band was lined up close enough to touch. ML really has this pose thing figured out!
Here's AG giving high fives to the players at the spirit walk. I was really too close to snap good pics. Then they were off to the bounce houses. 
Finally we walked the ramps to our seats. Morgan Leigh didn't complain once (her sister did!) but it obviously tuckered her out. She was asleep before kick-off.
She woke back up with the first fire of the canon. We made it thru halftime and left shortly afterwards. It was a fabulous day!!
We took pizza to our cousins this Friday. Dominos for the kids and Cane Rosso for the grown ups. :) The girls were playing dress up after we ate and I love Paige's outfit!!
It does get everywhere though!
We planned ahead for Friday night this week. I have so many friends that are raving about the pizza from a new spot. So we finally got one of them to take us along. I can't believe I didn't get a single shot of all the kiddos. Here are my girls enjoying the S'mores calzone that was dessert. Yummy gooey goodness. Thanks Mere for taking us!!

Our fall revolves around aggie football games. Matt wouldn't have it any other way! We went to his parents to leave the girls. ML and I took a second to pose this morning before walking to school. 
It's her first day, but she is so ready. AG has been in school for over a week now, and she is ready for her turn.
Me? Not so much! I have dearly loved having last year with her all to myself! She is such a sweet, funny little girl.
But these ladies (this is her teacher's aide) make it soooo much easier. I know that she will be loved and prayed over all year, and really I can't ask for more!
Here she is getting her backpack on at the end of the day! She was all smiles. A GREAT first day! I asked what she did and she said she made new friends, but didn't know any names.
As we walked over to pose by the sign, her friend Matthew joined us. Such a big day for our cupcake! The year will be just as fabulous!
Matt has been planning, researching and plotting to get a smoker with his birthday money for what feels like an eternity. Well, today he picked one up and we had it fired up within the hour to smoke some salmon. Which by the way, was AWESOME!
