Trick or Treat

Anna Grace went trick or treating tonight and we have the most fun neighbors! Isabelle, Lucy and their mom Leah all loved giving her candy.

We stayed and talked for a while and AG just sat down with the girls.

Happy Halloween

Grandma and Grandpa V sent a "scary" book for Anna Grace this year. She loves it!

Pink!

Anna Grace is subjected to pink on a daily basis. I wonder if she will have an aversion to it like I did after about 5th grade. Here she is in that adorable jumper riding her little car. She really has taken to the car over the past week. She pushes forward and backward, but can't steer it yet.

Fall Festival

We had fall festival at church today and Gigi and Grandpa Tom were able to come with us. Anna Grace was a lady bug and even endured the hood for a little while.

There was trunk-or-treating, that I signed Matt up for. He decorated the Tahoe to look like the Home of the 12th Man. He did a pretty good job.

After the trunk-or-treating we went to have Anna Grace's face painted. She sat totally still for the teenager to paint her face. She was entranced.

After that it was a little pose with Grandpa on the hay.

Phones

Anna Grace jabbered away yesterday morning on the phone for at least 20 minutes. She held her toy phone to her ear and then talked for an eternity. I wonder where she learned that :)
She stayed home with Gigi yesterday while Matt and I drove to College Station. I think she had a better time than we did. We had a belt separate from the tire, went to change the tires and couldn't get one of the lug nuts off, drove to the tire station and missed the 1st quarter. We returned home about 12:30.

Daddy's playdate

I woke up last night with a migraine headache and Matt stayed home today to help out. Anna Grace loved her playdate and I was grateful for the extra hands when I am not feeling 100%.
She is wearing this adorable new outfit from Carol and Eddy Engledow. She had an outfit in blue (from Gigi) almost exactly like this last year and wore it all the time. This one has plenty of grow room and will be perfect for the coming months. Thanks for thinking of us y'all.

New outfits

Anna Grace got this adorable outfit from Chad and Lila last year for Christmas, it just now fits and it is perfect for this time of year. Anyway, these are the cutest pants, thanks y'all!

Daddy's chair

Uh-oh is all I have to say about this post!
She finally figured how to climb up here all by herself. She usually waits for a boost, but today she did it in seconds. I have spent countless hours on the ottoman in front of this chair giving her a boost and watching her get down to get more books.
The good thing I can post is that she is really good about getting down by sliding on her belly. That at least makes me feel like she will get down a little safer.

Fall is here

It is harder and harder to get good shots of Anna Grace these days. She is always on the move, and rarely poses for shots. I snapped these two outside this morning. She just loves being outside and sitting on the first step is one of her favorite places. There are all kinds of acorns and caterpillars (ick!).

Another great visit

We just said goodbye to grandma and grandpa V. We are sorry to see them go, but grateful they entertained us this week. One sugar for the road...

Pumpkin Patch

Grandma, Grandpa V and I took Anna Grace to a pumpkin patch this morning. It is a gorgeous day and I love some of these pictures because it actually feels like fall now.

She's sitting on one of the pumpkins in this photo.

New dress!

Grandma came to visit and I always seem to have a few new projects for her. This was my latest request and I love the way it turned out. Thank you!

Torture

...According to Matt, when he noticed I did Anna Grace's hair like this during bath time.

Flip flops

One of my super clear memories of visitng the Cox's was when Tyler was a little bit older than Anna Grace is now. I always took my flip flops off so I wouldn't dirty their carpet, and Tyler would immediately step into my shoes and walk around the house. This was Anna Grace's first attempt in my flip flops.

Grandpa time

This picture was too cute not to post.

More jewelry

When grandmas come to visit suddenly there are a lot of "new" toys. Most of it is really similar to my stuff, but my things are not a toy. For instance, cell phones, jewelry, prescription glasses etc. Here is Anna Grace with grandma's necklace.

Chevelle

Matt drove the Chevelle today and AG sat in the backseat while we traded all of the cars in and out of the driveway. She was in no hurry to get out when I came to get her.

Rocking chair

Grandma and grandpa came today and brought Anna Grace a rocking chair just her size. She got in it and made it rock right away. It's great to see the smile back on her face as she feels better this afternoon.

Jewelry

Anna Grace found my earrings laying on the table this morning. She has been sick for most of the week, so I was glad to see her even want my earrings. She was holding them towards her ear like she wanted to put them on. It was too cute.

Lounging around

Anna Grace is still fighting off a fever, but she is starting to get back to normal. Lately, she has been laying on her back reading a book. It cracks me up, and today I was able to capture it with my phone.

15 months

A week without posts....I don't even begin to pretend that I know what happened to last week, it was a blur.

This pictures is a from a week or so ago when Kyla and I went to the park. I love the shot, it shows just a hint of her smirk with a little banana smeared on her face. :)

I was just reading one of my weekly newsletters about her growth and she is right on track. It says she should be interested in my purse (my good black one to be specific), my keys, my wallet etc., and she is. But she also loves our recycle bin by the back door. The empty Cheerios boxes are a favorite of hers to tote around. It makes me laugh most days when I see her walking around with boxes that are as big as she is.

Saturday Gigi and grandpa Tom met us in Waco so that we could go to another aggie game. She got into their car and threw up within about 15 minutes. Such a trooper as usual though, I still think she had a fantastic time with them. Gigi said she used one of the foot stools to climb up onto the couch, but she insists she only let it happen once. We are so grateful that they are willing to do stuff like this for us, and are close enough to be able to do so.
