Giggles

So when I tried to describe the sound she makes when she is utterly happy, I know I didn't do it justice. We captured part of it on video last night. May your day be filled with this kind of sheer joy.

Blowing Bubbles

So she started blowing bubbles on her tongue and making a noise. It is really too cute! Except that is when she is eating rice cereal. She did that on Sat. and again today and all I could do is laugh.

Favorite books

This is one of them, it must taste really good. Aunt Betsy knows how to pick out good books!

Standing up

Anna Grace has started standing next to things with a little help. Here she is, my hand is on her bottom, she isn't that steady just yet. She loves when you pull on her arms so that she can stand.

New clothes

It is a bright sunny day in Texas, and what a better way to celebrate than with a new outfit. She is sitting up in this cute little outfit from Jaime and Judy. So now that she is almost 7 months old, we are finally getting into the 3-6 month clothes. I should have a whole bunch of posts with all the new outfits, weather permitting.

Today also brought the first day that she grabbed for an earring on me. The hair has been game for quite some time, but she is really into sparkle. My engagement ring is a particular favorite, but this was the first time she ever noticed that they sparkle too.

Go Stars!

Dallas is hosting the NHL All Stars this week so we went to AAC last night. Anna Grace was a trooper and on our way to the car last night Matt wore her in the Bjorn. You could hardly peel the smile off her face as he attempted skipping. Her laughter was infectious, and I only wish that I could have captured the pure happy sound she was making.

Sitting up

Anna Grace has been sitting pretty steady for a while, and I will say that her toys look much more fun when she is upright.

Matt and I are still in discussion about her "scooching" ability. She goes about 8" and rolls over, I say that qualifies, Matt disagrees.

Story time

Here is a picture of Daddy reading AG stories. I thought I would be sly and not let her see me taking the picture, but I was wrong.

Mummy!!!

Here's my little mummy! She doesn't move her arms or anything when she is strapped in like this, she just moves her eyes back and forth. It's pretty cute.

Anyway, we are approaching a week of ice days and yesterday it snowed. I wish that she could appreciate the snow, but maybe next year :)

AG's new friend

Gigi said she was going through withdrawl since there haven't been new posts in 3 whole days...This is the latest. Anna Grace has really started to notice Bailey and follow him with her head. She even rolls towards him so he can lick her hands.

Bailey even joins her at the exersaucer. Oh, and an update on Bailey for those of you who know, he is cancer free, so life is good!

Sweet potatoes!

The first bite brought a smile to her face, of course, I think she was mimicing me. But the new food was a big hit, she ate all of it! Oh and yes, we are back in the bouncy seat. I don't have quite enough hands to keep her bottom where it should be in the big high chair.

Little peanut, big chair

We started rice cereal on Sunday, today was the first day in the big high chair. She looks so tiny in it!! Anyway, she liked gnawing on the tray and chewing on the spoon in between bites. Yummy!

Touchdown!

On the first play of the game, for the last college football game of the season. I am sure that AG will enjoy the extra attention now the daddy doesn't have football to watch. :)

Baby doll

Anna Grace got two dolls for Christmas, this is how she plays with them...It's a good thing these are machine washable, unlike most of her toys.

Weekend update

We went to the doctor on Friday morning and AG weighed in at 12 lbs 14 ozs. She is ready for solid food. We started rice cereal today for the first time. I don't have any still photos of the event but hope to upload some of the video later. YUMMY!

Little Lamb

Anna Grace has finally taken a liking to the stuff animals. This is the first one I saw her play with and it is from grandpa!

Happy New Year!

Anna Grace got two outfits for Christmas...one for now, one for later...I can hardly believe it! Here she is hanging out with dad watching some college football bowl games. She now has two teeth, she cut the second on Dec. 31st.
