State Fair

We were given free passes and parking to the State Fair this year.  It may very well have ruined me forever!

We started in the Truck section and Ford had a section of games.  AG was so excited to play.  This Ford worker asked AG to sing happy birthday to someone and she was more than happy to oblige.  Then she won $15 on a slot machine type game.  She may convert to be a Ford girl if daddy's not careful!

WALKATHON

Today is the day for the walkathon.  We met one of our goals and the whole school was welcome to dress as a storybook character.  AG lined up with a few of her dearest friends.

As one of the volunteers, I was at the school by 7am this morning.  I handed out bottles near the end of the route and joined ML's class for the finish.

Here is ML's whole sweet little class.  It was a huge success and we can't wait until next year!

Halloween fun

We have been guests to this Halloween party for several years.  It is such a fun evening.  We snapped some pics of the girls before we even sat down.  Morgan Leigh is Danica Patrick the NASCAR driver and AG is a cheerleader!

They always have different fun areas set up.  This confetti place was one of them.

How many kids do I have Matt playing with like this?  I love how kids love to be around him.  And this one followed him most of the night.  She had him holding her drinks - her candy - and anything else she might need.  LOVED it!

AG asked a long time ago to be a cheerleader.  I asked my dear friend where to find a "normal" cheerleader costume.  She replied my attic.  This is her high school uniform without alteration.  Thank you dear Meredith!

And lastly, this is what ML looked like when we pulled into the driveway.  We were out every night this week....and it just proved too much!

Wacky Tacky

Today was wacky tacky day.  Nothing like your craziest shirt and bottom together.  WOW!

PJ day and Chick Fil A

The girls got to wear the pj's to school today.  This also happened to be the day that we could dine at Chick Fil A as part of our fundraiser.  So here we are at dinner in our pajamas.

1989

Today is the day the album released.  We rushed to Target so that we could buy it together.

They were in love with the televisions that were streaming an ad.  Morgan Leigh can hardly wait until the concert in hopes that she gets to go this time.

Cuddlers

ML is the only one in the family that dares to sleep this close to AG.  But it does make me smile to see them all tangled in sleep.

Stories with uncle Paul

Uncle Paul and Aunt Janice made a spontaneous trip to Fort Worth this weekend.  The girls loved having them here for dinner and stories.  What a fun night!

Today was the perfect day to make caramel apples.  We did slices this year so they are easier to eat, but they are just as yummy!

Student council

AG decided she wanted to run for class representative this year for their student council.  She has the slogan "a vote for Anna Grace puts a smile on your face!"  There were 6 candidates and she got alternate.  Way to go peanut!

Snow White

Tonight was the start of our Casa season tickets.  It is always a wonderful night!

Round Rock donuts

We drove to Round Rock yesterday for maybe one of our last times.  It wouldn't be complete without a trip to the infamous Round Rock Donuts.

First duet

We started AG in piano this fall and fell onto an amazing teacher.  I am excited for her to fill the home with music!

Boots 'n BBQ

Matt and I got a sitter tonight and went to a church fundraiser.  Our speaker was the archbishop of Nigeria and was amazing!  We are blessed to be surrounded with such a vibrant church family!

Calf run

AG insisted on running the CALF run this morning.  It's her first 5k and we rolled out of bed super early to meet her school to run.

ML wanted to run too.  So we created our young buffalo group for the 1 mile.

AG finished super strong.  She ran just about a 12 min mile, great for her first time!
