I have spent every moment since the first pick up (12:30) outside.  We went to a park, picked up AG and headed to the patio.  I love days like this!  And I even captured them holding hands on the slide.  Life is good.

Dentist

I love our hygienist.  She is so awesome with my kids.  AG had her check up and ML asked when it was her turn.  So Laurie put them in the chair for a ride.  Soon it will be her turn too!

Marathon cheering

This weekend is my annual ladies retreat with our church.  It is also the Cowtown marathon and we know several people running the half.  I charged Matt with making a poster and sent him out before church to cheer on our friends and family.  I love their sign!!!

Baking!

My girls love to bake with me.  Today we are making Special K bars and maybe this is why they help so willingly!  I am making these as a snack for the ladies retreat tomorrow.  I can't wait for the weekend to all come together.

Lunch date

Morgan Leigh asked if we could take lunch to AG today.  What a perfect excuse to have lunch out!

Apparently it was a very exhausting way to spend the day.

Park time with friends

We met some of some of our favorite friends at the part after school today.  They even took the little on the merry go round.

Official

It's official!  I will have two bilingual daughters by this time next year.  Morgan Leigh got an acceptance letter for the spanish immersion program today.  I am beyond thrilled.  Two kids, one school, one calendar....for three whole years!!!!  It's my first time to ever have them in the same place at the same time.  Now what to do to entertain myself....

Today we had all kinds of plans!  We started with Morgan Leigh's party at school.

AG had a sock hop today and it was super cute!  (I will say that I spent the morning calling all over town trying to find a poodle skirt.  I didn't realize she might be the only one not wearing one!)

But my confident little girl didn't even bat an eye!

We ended the day with a trip to Casa for Pinkalicious!  I am so blessed to have a day surrounded by the ones I love.  I hope your day was filled with love too!

New ride

This is my new ride.  I fondly call it "the black boat".

But it wasn't official until now!  The girls were very curious why we didn't have an A&M sticker on that lovely Kia we drove for a month.  It definitely wasn't our normal ride.  But this one feels right at home.  And Matt is pretty sure it is my most expensive Valentine's present ever....

Delayed start

We have had crazy winter weather here!  When Anna Grace's school delays, Morgan Leigh's school cancels.  But it just took a second to remember that meant we could lunch with her favorite friend.  We don't get to do that very often anymore!

ICE CREAM

It's snowy and cold.  Perfect for ice cream!

Snow!

We had an ice storm earlier this winter and I kept saying it wasn't snow.  Well, this morning it started snowing at about 7:35.  Right when it was time to drop AG at school.
